CNI Organizes Validation of “Nepal@100 Billion Economy” Study Report with Government Stakeholders

On July 1, 2026, the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) organized a validation session on its flagship study, “Nepal@100 Billion Economy,” at the Ministry of Finance. CNI President Birendra Raj Pandey presented the key findings and recommendations of the study to senior officials and representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Investment Board Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank, the National Planning Commission, and the Policy Research Institute.

The discussion focused on the policy reforms, strategic investments, and institutional actions required to accelerate Nepal's economic growth and establish a credible roadmap towards achieving a USD 100 billion economy. Participants provided valuable feedback on the study's findings and exchanged views on strengthening the investment climate, enhancing productivity, mobilizing private sector participation, and implementing structural reforms needed to unlock the country's long-term economic potential.

The validation exercise underscored the importance of close collaboration between the government, the private sector, and key economic institutions in shaping a shared vision for Nepal's economic transformation. The insights and recommendations received during the session will further strengthen the study and support CNI's continued advocacy for evidence-based policy reforms aimed at achieving sustainable, inclusive, and high-growth economic development.
